Grotesque Universe - "No Planet More Vile"

about

The band Grotesque Universe's claim of experiencing an alien abduction together is an extraordinary and unsettling tale that has captivated the world. Their terrifying encounter with extraterrestrial beings allegedly took them to far away galaxies, where they were unwillingly forced to perform their unique brand of metal music.

During their abduction, the members of Grotesque Universe found themselves in an unimaginable scenario. They were held captive and subjected to an otherworldly coercion that compelled them to create music under duress. It was during one of the longer periods of abduction that they wrote their haunting song, "No Planet More Vile."

According to the band's chilling accounts, the atmosphere in the alien realm was oppressive and filled with an overwhelming sense of dread. They were surrounded by unknown technology and bizarre, grotesque entities that seemed to feed off their emotions. The aliens, seemingly enthralled by the band's music, demanded performances, forcing Grotesque Universe to play for their captors.

In the midst of their ordeal, the band found solace and defiance in their music. Despite the fear and uncertainty they faced, they poured their emotions into "No Planet More Vile," using their music as a form of catharsis and resistance against their alien captors.

The song's lyrics are said to be a reflection of the band's experience, exploring themes of captivity, despair, and the malevolence of the alien realm they were trapped in. The haunting melodies and powerful instrumentals served as a haunting testament to their traumatic journey beyond the stars.

Upon their eventual release, the band returned to Earth with a story that defied belief. They faced skepticism and ridicule from many, with some dismissing their claims as elaborate hoaxes or a publicity stunt. However, the sincerity and unwavering conviction in Grotesque Universe's accounts made it difficult for others to entirely disregard their experiences.

"No Planet More Vile" became a pivotal and powerful song in Grotesque Universe's discography, symbolizing their resilience and determination in the face of unimaginable horrors. The band's encounter with extraterrestrial forces continues to be a source of intrigue and debate, with their music serving as a haunting reminder of the unknown mysteries that lie beyond our world.

lyrics

I rubbed the deep taupe dust from this planet floor
into my swollen eyes, I'm the only salvor.
My dullness hangs slowly around the shore,
I drank the soft bones of a boa.

Even as we set out from Thorax, Faucet and I knew the long journey was coming to an end. (at least for now)
The remorse code, such regrets serve only the temporal ghoul that waits for us.

Obliterate the anterior.

Sabaeus squawks for joy as we cross the flat barren expanse.
Slide the tart jaw like scissors over molars the width of the clench.
The canyon like a church.

Deeper and deeper, down into the crust of this foulest world.
Chewy black smoke now rises, so hot and puffy inside me.

I push on to pulverize the outer halves on immediate impact
and light like the sun then erupts from my mouth with small crimson lines in it.
So many moons! So many Suns! We are the lost!

With Sabeus now gone, and Death Before us, we feel a deep purpose.

The maze within is no fathomable stroke of logic. There are no books.
We hunt for days through this singed history of endless lectures.
And where has Sabaeus gone? There will be no feeling, but a purpose.
