“Ear”

from "Excursions" by ddb

about

Tim, he had lifted up, he was a rough spare dog, that much we know.
They appeared to move in some eddies
that much we know, that much we know.

Malheureux reduced them to pennies and broke down a wall with his stone.
He was wild and civilized,
but for signs of treachery found none.

I saw his eyes still a blinkin', and he sank back under McKay's So I stood so high, swung open the door, and I run.
And Living things follow with such obstinate obedience,
a few seconds of life.
Succumbing to the frivolous and taken by the sound of the voice..
..as it remains.

Is it Mora? Is it Mora? Is it Mora?
I ask, Is it Mora?
Is it Mora?
Is it Mora in there? .......
