“Approaching the Dr​œ​'un Ruins”

Back on the Còetira Coast again, we finally got to go into the site of the Drœ'un Ruins on the shores of the Bottomless Ocean (Бездолен Океан). They had watched the Ruins carefully for five years before now, studying all the subtle changes. They had been watching through their periscope, and in the daylight of August 1st, they saw one of the towers rise on the horizon. The entire project took place in secret, and four of the six surveyors died trying to get back. Lizano and Nanes in particular loved working with the heavy morning mists and throwing a knife in and out of the darkness. As we arrived, a brief halt was called at noon. The Maruyans, themselves, who are sacred as that on which, no moonlight, various perils and odds of their coming to the primary thought for them was but an accident. They had never planned to follow us back to the world which we knew.
